The KISS System's Wound Photo Scales are a comprehensive wound photo guide. Standardize wound photography and reduce subjectivity in wound measurements.
This patented system features color-coded scales that conform to body curvatures, ensuring consistent wound documentation regardless of the photographer’s skill level. Ideal for both healthcare and forensic applications, the KISS System™ works with even simple point-and-shoot cameras.
The KISS Wound Photo Scale CR100 includes 10, 25, 50, and 100 sq. cm rings, each equipped with 4 linear scales for accurate length and width measurements. It also comes with note labels, alignment stick figures, and body location tabs. Includes two blank tabs for custom body locations.
The adhesive is latex-free and skin-friendly, making it safe for single use. Sheets feature a centimeter ruler for additional measurements and a color-coded scale for easy ring selection.
A QR code on each sheet links to an instructional video for proper use.

Enhance your wound documentation process with the KISS System™ Wound Measuring Guide, designed for precision, ease of use, and consistency in both clinical and forensic settings.
HOW TO USE:
First, measure the length, width and depth of the wound. Select a ring/ruler larger than the wound. To assist in selecting the correct size ring, the rings come with a color-coded guide of the inner diameter of the rings.
When placing the scale, you want to keep some intact healthy skin between the wound and the scale to show you are not trying to hide part of the wound. Peel the ring/ruler from its backing and place around/next-to the wound.
It is very important to align the length and width on the ring to the length and width of the wound you measured. This way you can defend your measurements in the photograph.
Place the stick figure next to the wound, aligning the stick figure in the same direct as the body.
Lastly, fill out the note label and apply next to the wound (permanent marker w‹ best). Include the date, time, patient ID and your initials. For wound location you use the body location tabs.
Take the photograph. Remove the photo guide from the patient. They are for single use only and are not meant to stay on the patient.
